Create a regular routine
For a pregnant woman, it is very important to create sleeping and/or resting routines. If we can make time for sleep and wake up every day, the body begins to get used to this routine, which eventually makes the nights more peaceful nights. During pregnancy it is essential to avoid going to sleep without eating, the idea is to have a light snack because this way we do not risk nausea during sleep.
Don’t drink too much water before bed
During pregnancy, the increase in bathroom visits is bigger due to the increased amount of fluid circulating in the body and the compression of the bladder by the expanding uterus.
These trips to the bathroom cause’s disturb a pregnant woman’s night sleep. In order to be able to rest more, we must, therefore, regulate the amount of fluid we drink before going to sleep and always go to the bathroom before bedtime.

Sleep in comfortable positions for pregnant women
The best position for a pregnant woman to be able to sleep better from the first month to the last month of pregnancy is to sleep on her side, preferably to the left, to help transport nutrients that calm the baby.

Pillows are great allies when we talk about sleeping comfortably during pregnancy.
There is no correct way to place the pillow because it depends on your comfort. We can use one for the back, between the legs… The important thing is that you feel comfortable and choose the most comfortable pillow for you.
